During the winter, disadvantaged families face challenges due to cold, rain, and deteriorating housing. Illness and malnutrition make life more difficult and require significant support; our initiative aims to help these families and lessen their wintertime struggles.
Campaign Goals
- Provide food baskets to more than 2000 families, including the food supplies each family needs, animal protein, and other health supplies to boost immunity and aid the body's defenses against winter illnesses.
- Provide weekly medical convoys, supporting families with complete medical care, operating required tests and examinations, and providing medications free of charge. This will also assist them in coping with seasonal winter illnesses and prevent health complications.
- Support with winter clothing to provide warmth and protection to more than 1500 children.
- Provide 2000 winter blankets to help families stay warm on chilly winter evenings.
- Renovating more than 60 houses:
Repair cracks in walls to protect families from cold and rain.
Fix doors and windows by installing glass to ensure insulation and prevent heat loss.
Installing an insulation layer on roofs is essential to prevent water from infiltrating homes during rainy days.
- Installing electric heaters greatly enhances families' quality of life by supplying hot water, essential for maintaining personal hygiene, particularly in cold weather, and for eliminating bacteria and germs, which reduces the risk of infections and illnesses, which are prevalent in the winter.
