Edu-behavioral program support for kids with autism at the Egyptian Autistic Society

The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic had significant adverse effects on the economic status of numerous families, forcing them to halt their kids’ educational and behavioral programs. This saw many children take steps back from their set development plans, hindering the progression of their mental and physical skills. To overcome this, the Khater Foundation financially sponsored 7 children for the annual academic program of 2021-2022 at the Egyptian Autistic Society. The program is based on children attendance 5 days per week from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm. Each day includes sessions of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, speech and language therapy, training in self-care and social skills in addition to behavior modification.
