Convoys - Hihya City, Ash Sharqia Governorate

One of the Khater Foundation’s very first projects is in Hihya city, Ash Sharqia, in collaboration with As-Salam International Hospital, to utilize the hospital’s experienced physicians and nurses as well as its reputable pharmacy.
Convoys were executed in Ash Sharqia Governorate between September 2018 and March 2020, with a short hiatus during the COVID-19 pandemic and is back again since September 2022. The convoys provide patients with physician consultations, labs tests, and medications free of charge. Convoys offer weekly clinics covering three specialties (Internal Medicine – Paediatrics – Ear, Nose, & Throat), in addition to occasional clinics for General Surgery and Ophthalmology.
